For Silver Surfers
Guiding is everything that happens before you get in the water: reading the forecast, choosing the spot, picking the time. You can book guiding on its own. Coaching always includes it, and adds the work on your surfing once you are out there.
Los Cabos has a remarkable variety of waves and coastlines. From May to October the south swells run into the Sea of Cortez and light up Costa Azul and the East Cape. From November to April the Pacific side takes over. The best spot changes with the swell, wind, tide and season, and with the surfer.
From a few hours of guiding to a full day exploring Baja, you get private transport, the right board and a session built around the best waves available while you are here.
Guiding is available to surfers who catch waves on their own, without push-ins or coaching in the lineup. If you are not there yet, coaching is where to start.
EAST CAPE
Nine Palms · Shipwrecks · La Fortuna
Long right-hand point breaks, desert hills running straight to the ocean, and often nobody else around. Warm water, clean walls and remote Baja scenery make the East Cape one of the best places to surf in summer. Best from May to October.
COSTA AZUL
The Rock · Old Man’s · Zippers
The closest good surf to San José del Cabo and the Corridor hotels, with a variety of waves for different levels. From mellow inside sections for first waves to faster point breaks when the swell picks up, there is usually something working without a long drive. Best from May to October.
PACIFIC SIDE
Cerritos · Todos Santos
When the Sea of Cortez goes quiet in winter, the surf moves west. Cerritos is a wide, sandy beach break, great for learning and for catching plenty of waves. Depending on your level and the conditions, we also explore other breaks along the Pacific coast. Best from November to April.
SCORPION BAY
San Juanico · A trip of its own
Nine hours north of Los Cabos sits one of the longest right-hand point breaks in the world. On the right swell, a single wave can run for well over a kilometre through several connecting points. This is not a day trip, but a two- to five-day adventure for experienced surfers. Planned well in advance, on request.
BEYOND LOS CABOS
Maldives · Mauritius · St. Barths
Los Cabos is where we are based, but it is not the only place we surf. With over thirteen years of experience across some of the world’s most renowned surf destinations, we can also plan or join private surf trips elsewhere. Available on request, from a few days to a fully tailored surf trip.
